Artist Statement

My art practice is centered around the exploration of the world's beauty as it manifests in various mediums. I experiment with paint, photography, sculpture and other mediums, exploring how they can exist and interact. Much of my work is intuitively made and created around my fascinations and life experiences. I am interested in art's ability to express emotion and elicit feelings in the viewer. I am also very curious about individual interpretations of work, and the multiple meanings a piece can hold. I make art to learn more about myself and the world around me through the creative process. While focusing on the natural world while I also bring in issues that are important to me and the world we live in.
